Behind the Camera
Bridging Creative Worlds - directing movies honed my eye for audience connection—skills I now apply to brand campaigns. Both worlds require translating abstract concepts into compelling visual experiences that resonate with audiences.
I spent over a decade bringing stories to life on screen, wearing multiple hats as producer, director, and editor. I juggled budgets up to $6 million, managed large and diverse creative teams, and chased that perfect shot. My films spanned across comedy, horror, and drama, and were developed and released by studios such as HBO, Blumhouse, Starz, and Samuel Goldwyn. Two films culminated in Toronto International Film Festival premieres.
Many of my other projects included dark (and sometimes outrageous) genre films—about as far away as you can get from Martha Stewart Living and World Food Program USA. However, I think this is what sets me apart. Whether on set with actors or collaborating with brand teams, I build creative frameworks that balance artistic expression with practical delivery, connecting seemingly different worlds through authentic visual storytelling.
Many people are surprised by my transition from film to creative design for beauty and humanitarian brands. The contrast feels stark on paper, but the core skills translate perfectly. Film taught me visual storytelling, team leadership, and budget management—all essential in my current work.
